Shipping and Receiving

Skip breadcrumb navigation Normal receiving hours on the dock are from 7:30 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. The dock is closed from 12 noon until 12:30 p.m. The dock will be closed on all IBT holidays. Please plan your purchasing and scheduled deliveries accordingly.

Small, shoebox size or smaller, overnight shipments will be taken to Security. The Security Officer on duty will call when they are available for pickup.

Packages will be delivered as soon as possible after they are received. Priority and perishable shipments will be delivered first. We attempt to deliver all packages the same day they are received. If you have not received a package you are expecting, please call the vendor and see if there has been a delay. If the vendor package tracking determines that the package has been received at IBT, please call the Physical Plant office at (713)677-7768 so that we can check our records for you and help you locate the package.

Copier Paper Distribution
Copier paper is delivered on Wednesdays. Please fill out a Stores Requisition and turn it into the Physical Plant office no later than the Wednesday morning of expected delivery.
