Physical Plant - Custodial Services

The Custodial Services section of the Physical Plant Facilities Department is responsible for keeping the building in a pleasant, clean, and sanitary condition. Custodial personnel are responsible for cleaning all areas of the IBT building with the exception of laboratory and research areas. Laboratory cleaning is restricted to mainly flooring. Contact Physical Plant office for special cleaning of laboratories and clearance by the Safety Office.

. DAILY CLEANING
Custodial personnel clean offices, restrooms and labs on a daily basis. Please call the Physical Plant office at (713) 677-7768 if you need any additional assistance or if you notice anything in your area that needs further attention.

. FLOORING
Carpeting is cleaned and tile flooring refinished on a regular basis. If you believe the flooring in your area needs maintenance prior to a scheduled cleaning, please contact the Physical Plant Facilities office at (713) 677-7768.
